After God...Family is FirstTwo of the Core Practices of Cicero Christian Church are: “We believe that the family is the foundational unit of the Body of Christ, and we wish to focus our efforts on strengthening the family first. “ “We seek to equip the heads of households and teach them how to effectively lead and nurture the family unit.” Some of the ways we put these Core Practices in effect are through Family Night, held most Wednesday nights. We offer a family meal at 5:30 followed by activities designed to be family friendly rather than split families into different age groups. The activities help families grow spiritually together. After some "together time," age appropriate classes are usually available for all family members to choose from to further their Christian education. Through these and other ministries such as Home Fellowships, ATOMIC Ministry for men, our women’s ministry, and Crown Financial Concepts we are working to strengthen families. |
