A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.

Dunamis Ranch Worship Center Construction

Jail Ministry at White Mountain Apache Reservation

The topography at the ranch is rolling hills with sage grass, dry clay soil, volcanic rock, lots of juniper bushes, short squat cactus and not much else. On the reservation, however, the lower elevation allows for pine trees and some spectacular scenery as the elevation changes from over 11,000 feet at the high peak to about 2700 feet above sea level. Dutch Mountain is at 6400 feet.

Grandma Bev stayed behind with the kids at Dunamis Ranch on Dutch Mountain. While all the ladies and a small group of men went down to the reservation (about an hour and 15 minutes away). We didn't take any photos at the Jail, but the both the men's and women's sections of the jail were visited with singing, a devotion, snacks and fellowship time.

Our count grew to 32 overnight as Vonnie Gonzalez joined us at the Ranch and Chris came to help at the worship center.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch...

The day begins with a snuggle on the couch - Grace, Kennedy and Damian (Greg & Beth's godson). Lance, Jake and Carter enjoy Blue's Clues.

Jeff preps for the concrete coming this morning.

After the pour, the men apply the finish.

From the north side looking at the back entrances. If you could see on the other side of the building about a quarter of a mile, you would see the house.

Although temporary, this backhoe is an invaluable toy tool

Buck builds up his strength in preparation to cut the beams for the front porch - Phil encourages him and watches for pointers

Scott and Buck measure and cut the beams

Meanwhile, Chad is prepping some of the heating and electrical equipment

John, Chad and Jason realize just how high they have to get those HVAC units up to the ceiling

Eli, Robbie and Christian prep lumber for the lowered ceiling in the bathrooms

Ron, David and Max work on the plumbing on the men's bathroom

Gino and Bob discuss some goals for the day.

Robbie up on a ladder - many more trips up this to come!

While all the adults are crashing around the camp fire, Grace, Carter, Damian and Kennedy are all ready for bed and absorbed into a movie.

Phillip catches some sleep time in the luxury suite (the garage). It was a real blessing to have several new mattresses to crash on.
