A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.

Chris went back to the Reservation in the morning. Greg went to Phoenix on Tuesday and picked up his youngest son, Austin, who came back and had trouble finding a place to sleep. Jay, Julie, Matthew and Jessica St. Peters drove in from Scottsdale for the day. Julie and the kids joined us at the Ranch and Jay went to the jail and the Rainbow Treatment Center for the day. John Razo headed back home after helping with the Worship Center since Saturday.

Happy Birthday Jeff Roberts!

The day started out with the same bleary eyed children (it's only 6:30am?!), but got exciting with the discovery of a snake!

The day started out with the same bleary eyed children (it's only 6:30am?!): Lance, Carter, Jake, Eli, Christian and Grace holding Damian. Notice the webmaster and her new assistant, Gina.

Grace, Jessica and Kennedy went exploring about 40 yards from the back porch. They asked Julie to come out and see the "Indiana Burial Ground" they discovered, and what Julie discovered was a snake about four feet away.

Wildlife photographer Jeff Pieper used the old "throw the rock at it" trick to get it to "strike" so he can take a good picture.

Here it is! Just trying to take a nap and digest it's lunch, but too close to the house for comfort.

People gather around to assess the situation. Notice all the camo gear - soon, David was drooling and came back with his shotgun.

There was a few screams, the crowd moved back, a crackle of gunfire, and the crowd rushed in. Jason pulled him out with a stick.

He was still wriggling with a big bulge in his belly where, we presume, was a rat. They called it a "gopher" snake. It was about 4 feet long.

Kip gets to display the prize. The kids wanted to cut it open and see what was inside, but grandpa Bob buried it with the backhoe.

Afer all that excitement, lunch was served (no, there will be no snake stew!)

Jeff Roberts, Jay St. Peters, Scott & Phil Sullivan and Greg went to the jail for the GED class and then on to Rainbow Treatment Center.

We all met up a the church at 5 for dinner followed by worship service. Grandpa Phil hugs his grandson Phillip

Tremel and Grace helped Beth and Gino lead a few songs.

Kennedy and Mariah. After the music, the kids were taken to other rooms for children's study while the adults went through a lesson of Chip Ingram's Love, Sex and Lasting Relationships.

Greg had the pleasure of baptizing Jimmy (left) and Chris (who worked out at the ranch with the men).

After the lesson, the kids come back in to the main room and everyone has a snack. I think Christy's might have fallen on the floor.

Eli and Christian. Mouse over the picture to see who still thinks he looks like this (but we have photographic evidence to the contrary.)

Max is our first injury - it looks worse than it is.
